Iris Merget

Iris Merget, M.A., manages the Ethics Team and Committee at DFKI and handles PR & Scientific Communication for the Agents and Simulated Reality department. She contributes to AI standardization through the German Institute for Standardization (DIN), including work on the Standardization Roadmap and DIN-SPEC 91528. Iris also leads CAIRNE’s Ethics group and ensures that ethical concerns in AI are addressed within the LorAI project.
